I liked this post on nostate.com.
The Zombie Apocalypse has already occurred. What would happen if the entire world's population was a mindless zombie? It's too late. That already happened.
Due to pro-State brainwashing, nearly everyone in the world is a mindless zombie. Due to my own ability and experiences, I've managed to mostly crack my pro-State brainwashing.
Even if you gain conscious awareness of "Taxation is theft!", you need to also crack your emotional/psychological pro-State brainwashing. That is very difficult.
It's depressing to notice the aftermath of the Zombie Apocalypse. I can see it in other people, whenever I ride the subway or walk down the street. Most people learn to not fully utilize their brain, so they don't notice that the Zombie Apocalypse has already occurred.
Most people have little/no emotional awareness. This is necessary, because otherwise you'd start seeing the Matrix. As an infant, you learn to ignore the fact that all the adults around you are insane. You assume that's normal human behavior.
In order to survive, you learn to not notice certain things. If you're subjected to a traumatic experience, you can suddenly gain higher awareness. Then, you have the symptoms of a mental illness and are forcibly drugged.
When I get on the subway, especially during rush hour, I notice the suffering of the other people on the train. It was shocking to start noticing it all of a sudden. Now, my reaction is "Oh, that." There isn't anything I can do about it right now.
It's pointless to worry about these hopeless disaster scenarios. One of the worst possible disasters has already occurred!
I wonder if that's why "OMFG! Global warming is an impending huge disaster!" is a story that many people believe. "OMFG! The planet is going to be ****ed up!" resonates, because it hints at a hidden deeper truth. The planet is *ALREADY* ****ed up, because nearly every human is nearly completely insane.

Not completely. You took the red pill, this means that others can do to.
I never believed them to begin with, and learned to hide my inner self, because they gave that a diagnosis, an insanity. I don't knock my head on the wall or do anything else that is insane. I just refuse to trust them that what they are doing is for my own best. I see them doing insane things, and if I point that out, they say I am a conspiracy nut. When those things mature and progress and give results that I already pointed out before, they find different "reasons", and urge me to sing kumbaya.
But, there are others like us. That's my point. It is not completely f-ed up.

One time you mentioned how soldiers often break their brainwashing after fighting in Iraq or Afghanistan. I was looking at "operation first casualty" at the iraq vets against the war website and they were conducting fake patrols in American cities to spread awareness. I thought it was entertaining. Its interesting that the dept of homeland security added veterans to the list of potential domestic terror threats. I was reading an article on lewrockwell.com and a marine vet was talking about coming home from the war in iraq and starting a farm. He was very traumatized from the war (holding your best friends in your arms as they die probably does that) and it took him a long time to get comfortable with civilian life. He got into organic farming and tried selling raw milk and cheese products but got in big trouble from the government. He couldin't believe that he gave his youth and mental sanity for "freedom" and yet he wasin't even allowed to farm and sell the products he wanted to.
I've always wondered why in companies, a manager can bully and wreck the career of a good worker and yet the co-workers don't organize up and do something.
We have got to the stage where everybody keeps their head down and decides they must keep their job at all costs.
We really need unions for office workers. So if this is a little off-topic, but people just seem to switch off as employees and forget decency and honesty.
People act like animals in companies. If someone falls out of favour they are fair game.
@ a communist above:
No, we don't. I don't for sure. This does breaks the "we" already.
Unions are scum.
That's what happens when you feed people fluoride, mercury, and MSG.
