This YouTube video was interesting. Rick Barber is running for Congress in Alabama. He's almost calling for an open revolt against the Federal government, primarily against the IRS.
It's interesting to notice the widespread criticism of Rick Barber. Instead of saying "Rick Barber is right! The Federal government's authority isn't legitimate! The IRS really is an out of control terrorist organization!", most people are denouncing Rick Barber.
I also liked the bit about "malicious IRS prosecutions". The tax code is really complicated. The IRS can crack down on any small business owner and send them to jail. This allows for politically-motivated prosecutions.
I doubt that Rick Barber will win. It's interesting. It's nice to see more anti-State tendencies.
It also is promising that Rick Barber can air an advertisement like that, without going to jail for treason. That's probably more important than whether he gets elected or not.

Barber on agricultural subsidies: "Because I believe that our food supply is directly connected to national defense, I will fight in Washington for productive farmers' protections against market forces."
