Ron Paul Full-Page USA Today Advertisement

A wealthy individual recently placed a full-page advertisement for Ron Paul in the USA today. The advertisement was paid for personally, so it didn't count as a campaign contribution.

Are some wealthy people starting to realize that the current economic system is in danger of collapsing? It probably is in their rational self-interest to promote Ron Paul.

At this point, the choices may be "Ron Paul is President" or "The current economic and political system completely collapses." There still may be another chance in 2012 or 2016, if Ron Paul fails to be elected President.

Personally, I think it would be fairer if the current economic and political system completely collapses, and we can start over with a better system.

A collapse would be very painful for everyone would it not?

A collapse would be terrible and America would never rebound because there are many countries poised to take our place as the economic power of the world. What we really need is a businessman of Mitt Romney's caliber in the White House. He has many plans that will actually put money in your pocket. FSK,

Why do you think people who aren't sold on agorism today will adopt it after an economic collapse? If history is anything to go by, an economic collapse would lead to civil war and/or the rise of a dictator. People will be clamouring for a tough guy who'll ditch all niceties and bring about order. Just wondering.

@Anonymous,

Ron Paul's plan is a bit different from Romney's. He doesn't want to put (other people's money) in your pocket. He wants to leave your money in your pocket. Crazy, isn't it?

Cheers!
